μ-Calpain CAPN1 cleaves pRB after lysine 810 in human cervical cancer cell lines (Darnell et al, 2007; Tomita et al, 2020), suggesting that a Calpain homolog could cleave LIN-35/Rb in the absence of DAF-18/PTEN. This evidence concerns the gene CAPN2 and cervical cancer.
