Consistent with this finding, anti-FATP2 IF staining demonstrated significantly elevated FATP2 levels in the epithelium of NPs compared with healthy controls (Fig. 4g, h), suggesting that the increased expression of FATP2 in the NP epithelium may contribute to the observed lipid accumulation in CRSwNP.
