The imaging analyses showed that overexpressing PCSK9 significantly enhanced the ability of 231‐GFP cells to metastasize from the primary tumor in the mammary fat pad to the nearby iliac lymph node (LN) with tumor size being increased by 71‐fold and the metastatic lung colony numbers being enhanced by 57‐fold (Figure 4I).
