In a mouse model of liver fibrosis induced by C-C Motif Chemokine Ligand 4 (CCL4), exosomes derived from mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) carrying miR-26a were shown to promote ferroptosis in hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) and regulate SLC7A11 expression, thereby alleviating liver fibrosis (Cao et al., 2024). This evidence concerns the gene SLC7A11 and Hepatic fibrosis.
