The group developed TCR-like monoclonal antibody (8F4) UCB-derived CAR-T cells that specifically recognized the PR1/HLA-A2 on the surface of AML cells and were capable of killing leukemia cell lines and primary AML blasts in an HLA-A2-dependent manner (>60% of killing and >40% of killing respectively in 4:1 effector: target ratio). This evidence concerns the gene TMEM37 and acute myeloid leukemia.
