Performing a pathway enrichment analysis using upregulated genes in responders and non-responders of the integrated dataset, we found a significant upregulation of genes related to oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS) in non-responders for both tumor and blood samples (p = 9.21 × 10−55 and 0.0005, respectively), while responders showed a higher significance of tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) signaling (p = 3.91 × 10−18 and 0.005, respectively, Figures S4 and S5; Table S2). Here, TNF is linked to neoplasm.
