Regarding a possible autoimmune cause of the massive myocardial calcification, such as in the context of scleroderma, all laboratory diagnostics including Scl-70, CENP A, CENP B, RP11, RP155, fibrillarin, NOR90, Th/To, PM-Scl100, PM-Scl75, Ku, PDGFR, and Ro-52 were unremarkable, and the ACR/EULAR score was low. This evidence concerns the gene TRIM21 and scleroderma.
