AGT and dementia: In the subgroup meta-analysis of four studies with a follow-up duration ≥ 6.8 years, we found that Ang-II stimulating AMHs were associated with a significantly reduced risk of all-cause dementia (HR = 0.84, 95% CI = 0.81–0.88, p < 0.001) [24–26, 53] compared with Ang-II inhibiting AHMs.
