In this study, we cocultured CD8+ T cells and GBM cells in medium with both anti-PD-L1 and anti-VEGFR2 therapy, and flow cytometry showed that combination therapy with anti-PD-L1 and anti-VEGFR2 could promote the apoptosis of GBM cells to a greater degree than therapy with either agent alone (Fig. 6A, B), and western blot analysis yielded similar results (Fig. 6C–E).
