FBC in NHL may reveal anaemia, thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, pancytopenia, lymphocytosis or thrombocytosis, which can be due to extensive bone marrow infiltration, splenic involvement or blood loss.22 CRP can be used to rule out acute tonsillitis in combination with clinical assessment and is also a valuable prognostic marker in NHL.23 Here, CRP is linked to thrombocytosis disease.
