Lupus patients can produce a large number of antiplatelet-related antibodies, including anti-GPIbα, anti-gpia/IIa, anti-gpIIb/IIIa, anti-PAIgG, anti-gpib/IX, anti-CD40L antibodies, antiphospholipid antibodies, anti-c-mpl and anti-TPO antibodies (1). This evidence concerns the gene GP1BA and systemic lupus erythematosus.
