CXCL1 and periodontal disorder: Due to its role in promoting immune cell migration and activation, emerging evidence has established CXCL1 as a pivotal molecular regulator in the development and progression of various inflammatory pathologies, with demonstrated involvement in periodontal disease, autoimmune arthritis, and chronic intestinal inflammation, among other immune-mediated conditions (Hou et al., 2023; Liu W. et al., 2018; Zhan et al., 2023).
