Edoxaban tosylate hydrate (EDO), with the chemical structure illustrated in Fig. S1, is a novel selective inhibitor of factor Xa (Factor Xa is responsible for cleaving prothrombin to thrombin) and is used as an oral anticoagulant for prophylaxis in cases of atrial fibrillation or as treatment of pulmonary embolism or venous thromboembolism. Here, F10 is linked to venous thromboembolism.
