In the acute gout model, the mRNA and corresponding protein(contain their phosphorylated proteins) levels of IL-1β, IL-6, JAK2, and STAT1/3 were significantly lower in IL-6 KO mice compared to WT mice at 12 h post-injection (P < 0.05) (Figures 6a, b); Additionally, IHC staining revealed a decrease in the positive expression of phosphorylated JAK2 and STAT1/3 in IL-6 KO mice (P < 0.05) (Figure 6c).
