Previous COVID‐19 studies have shown IGFBPs to be associated with more severe disease (Iosef et al., 2023; Mester et al., 2024; Mohammed et al., 2022), while IGF levels are higher in mild COVID‐19 than in the severe form (Hazrati et al., 2022; Iosef et al., 2023). Here, IGF1 is linked to COVID-19.
