Specifically, vitiligo was negatively associated with CCL11 (OR = 0.9804, 95% CI 0.9637–0.9973, p = 0.023), which was in turn associated with an increased risk of CHD (OR = 1.0954, 95% CI 1.0344–1.1600, p = 0.002) (Supplementary Fig. S15). The gene discussed is CCL11; the disease is vitiligo.
