Participants with chronic migraine had higher prolactin levels (mU/l) at baseline as compared to participants with episodic migraine [median (IQR): 204 (169, 260) vs 276 (220, 363), p = 0.02], whereas there was no significant difference at follow up [median (IQR): 158 (82.5, 201) vs 181 (94, 293), p = 0.2].
