Interestingly, most immune cell enrichment levels in endometriosis were significantly higher than in the endometrium (Fig. 7A), including activated B cells, central memory CD8 T cells, effector memory CD4 T cells, effector memory CD8 T cells, gamma delta T cells, immature B cells, memory B cells, regulatory T cells, type 1 T helper cells, type 2 T helper cells, mast cells, and MDSC. The gene discussed is CD4; the disease is endometriosis.
