We also demonstrate that SCLC cells associated with high ASCL1 expression are more susceptible to the blockage of mitochondrial respiratory complex I (NADH dehydrogenase) and, moreover, that non-ASCL1-driven cells are more susceptible to glutaminolysis inhibition, which may allow future subtype-specific personalized therapy.
