CRP and dengue disease: Furthermore, soluble endoglin (ENG) and syndecan-1(SDC-1), both vascular endothelial markers, have been identified assignificant predictors of dengue disease outcomes and a predictivecapacity with 100% precision (n = 47). A multicountry observational study reported that C-reactive protein(CRP) serves as a possible biomarker to predict disease progressionin dengue. The study (n = 1120) identifiedthat CRP levels of around 30 mg/L within the first 3 days of the illnesswere associated with the highest risk of severe dengue.
