In pancreatic cancer cells, miR-193a-5p is upregulated and involved in the activation of serine/arginine-rich splicing factor 6 (SRSF6), OGDHL, extracellular matrix protein 1 (ECM1), and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) (Figure 6) (31). This evidence concerns the gene SRSF6 and familial pancreatic carcinoma.
