Inhibition of NF-κB reduces inflammatory responses in a mouse model (Ho et al., 2023), the induction of NF-κB signaling mitigates the inflammatory response associated with cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury in an experimental rat model (Li J et al., 2024), and treatment with NF-κB p65 inhibitors after ischemic stroke partially reverses the upregulation of proinflammatory cytokines (Qian Y et al., 2024). Here, NFKB1 is linked to ischemic stroke.
