The aims of the current study were, first, to compare the diagnostic performance of 18F-PSMA-1007 PET/CT and whole-body MRI (WBMRI) for T-staging and detection of intraprostatic lesions using whole-mount prostatectomy specimens as the reference standard, and second, to evaluate the potential correlation between PSMA uptake on PET/CT and the immunohistochemical PSMA staining intensity in PCa lesions. This evidence concerns the gene FOLH1 and posterior cortical atrophy.
