A model incorporating eGDR, BMI, age, AST, WBC, and PLT had an AUROC of 0.822, and was superior to conventional noninvasive scoring systems, including the AST-to-PLT ratio index, fibrosis-4 level, and gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase to platelet ratio for individuals with obesity (all P < 0.01). The gene discussed is GGTLC1; the disease is obesity disorder.
