Additionally, age (OR 1.027 [95% CI: 1.015, 1.039]; p < 0.001), LVEF (OR 0.938 [95% CI: 0.921, 0.955]; p < 0.001), and atrial fibrillation (OR 3.085 [95% CI: 1.544, 6.166]; p = 0.001) were associated with the elevation of NT-proBNP, but not sex, BMI, or creatinine.
