A diagnosis of myocarditis was not recorded in any of these cases; however, serum troponin was increased in one patient (14.3% of tested patients, 4% overall at a value of 2.94 ng/mL, cutoff of 0.03) and NT proBNP was increased in five, amounting to 55.5% of tested cases and 20% overall, at a mean of 353.98 ± 503.59 ng/L (Table 3).
