ATXN3 and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis: We conducted MR analysis between pQTLs of 905 proteins and ALS, the cutoff of P value was adjusted by the Bonferroni method (0.05/905 = 5.5249 × 10−5), and 21 significant proteins were found (SHBG, SCUBE3, ATP1B2, LY75, HDGFRP3, ECM1, TNFSF12, APOC1, ATXN3, CLSTN2, NT5C3L, TIMD4, NID1, TCN2, LCT, IL1RL1, SERPING1, UGT1A6, HGFAC, PLA2R1, DECR2) (Figure 2A).
