Three potentially pathogenic chemokine pathways have been identified in atopic dermatitis (CCL17/CCL22-CCR4, CCL27-CCR10, and CX3CL1-CX3CR1), and two in psoriasis (CCL20-CCR6 and CCL17/CCL22-CCR4), where one of them seems to be common [7]. The gene discussed is CCR4; the disease is psoriasis.
