Subsequently, the survival prognosis of these two genes was analyzed using the GEPIA database, and the Kaplan–Meier survival analysis curves showed that patients with low expression of the PLAU and CAV1 had longer overall and disease-free survival versus those with high expression, suggesting that these two genes are closely associated with the survival prognosis of patients with GBM (Figure 7d,e). The gene discussed is CAV1; the disease is glioblastoma.
