TNF and inflammatory bowel disease: Conversely, there are already some existing studies about the discontinuation of anti-TNFα in IBD patients after achieving remission, so more is known about relapse rates and predictors of relapse for anti-TNFα: the incidence rate of relapse is about 20% per patient-year in IBD patients who discontinued anti-TNFα after clinical remission was achieved, and retreatment is effective and safe in about 80% of these patients [21,22].
