NFE2L2 and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis: Shi et al. demonstrated that baicalin mitigated nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) in an HFD mouse model, reducing lipid accumulation, inflammation, and oxidative damage in liver tissues, partly by enhancing NRF2/HO-1 expression and suppressing the NLRP3/Caspase1/GSDMD-mediated pyroptosis pathway.
