Thrombospondin-2 (THBS2) has emerged as a significant prognostic biomarker across a broad spectrum of cancers, including colorectal cancer (CRC) [1,2], gastric cancer (GC), colitis-associated colorectal cancer (CAC) [3,4,5], pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) [6], ovarian cancer [7], triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) [8], non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) [9,10], oral cavity squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) [11], cervical cancer [12], bladder cancer [13], hepatocellular carcinoma [14], and melanoma [15]. This evidence concerns the gene THBS2 and triple-negative breast carcinoma.
