ASB10 and glaucoma: Keller K.E. and Wirtz M.K. described that the ASB10 gene is associated with the development of glaucoma and, interestingly, ASB10 is regulated by pro-inflammatory cytokines that, in turn, contain the suppressor of cytokine signaling (SOCS) gene family that contains ubiquitination domains and could recruit complexes of Ub ligase for subsequent degradation by the proteasome [131].
