Recently developed selective biological agents such as adalimumab, brodalumab, bimekizumab, certolizumab, etanercept, infliximab, ixekizumab, golimumab, guselkumab, secukinumab, risankizumab, tildrakizumab, and ustekinumab, which are directed against different important cytokines (TNF-α, IL17 family members (IL17A, IL17C, IL17F), IL-23 and IL12/IL23) by blocking the inflammatory cascade at different levels, are widely used for moderate-to-severe forms of psoriasis [30].
