KEGG pathway analysis revealed that differential mRNA expression was significantly associated with pathways in cancer, metabolic pathways, pathways of neurodegeneration-multiple diseases (including Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and Huntington’s disease), herpes simplex virus 1 infection, NAFLD, AMPK, PI3K-Akt and JAK-STAT signaling pathways, and oxidative phosphorylation lysosomes (Figure 4c,d and Table 3). Here, AKT1 is linked to Alzheimer disease.
