Despite the knowledge on various genetic mutations in endometrial cancer (microsatellite instability and mutations in PTEN, K-ras, beta-catenin, p53, HER-2/neu, p16 and E-cadherin genes) and distinguishing different genetic types of this cancer, we still lack knowledge of the regulatory mechanisms occurring in this cancer [9,10,11]. The gene discussed is CTNNB1; the disease is cancer.
