ABCG2 and infection: In this study, nine pathways were specifically enriched after infection, including carbohydrate metabolism (galactose metabolism), membrane transport (ABC transporters), biosynthesis of secondary metabolites (biosynthesis of unsaturated fatty acids and fatty acid biosynthesis), peptide metabolism (glutathione metabolism), lipid metabolism (fatty acid elongation, fatty acid degradation, and fatty acid metabolism), and amino acid metabolism (taurine and hypotaurine metabolism) (Figure 3B,C).
