Briefly, a lack of correlation has been found between depressive symptoms and IGF-1 levels in fibromyalgia [159,160,161], osteoarthritis [162], patients in hemodialysis [163], with cerebral palsy [164], in people suffering from unexpected sudden loss [165], and with eating disorders such as anorexia or bulimia [166]. This evidence concerns the gene IGF1 and fibromyalgia.
