Among the 47 genes involved in nervous cell development, 35, including GRAF1, BMP/retinoic acid-inducible neural-specific 2 (BRINP2), NTF3, endothelin receptor type B (EDNRB), erb-b2 receptor tyrosine kinase 4 (ERBB4), and protein kinase D1 (PRKD1), were confirmed to have H3K4me3 peaks in the sigmoid colon and CCD 841 CoN, but not in colorectal cancer cells. Here, PRKD1 is linked to colorectal cancer.
