First, echocardiography showed no significant difference in initial cardiac function among the wild-type mice, AAV9-NC mice and AAV9-Ctbp2 mice before myocardial infarction(Fig. 3J–O), but overexpression of Ctbp2 significantly improved cardiac function after myocardial infarction (Fig. 4B–G).
