ACVR2A and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis: have reported frequent mutations of ACVR2A, encoding activin A receptor type 2A, in HCC linked to non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH-HCC), which is known as an HCC subgroup resistant to anti-PD-1 therapy, and have also addressed that ACVR2A silencing accelerates cell proliferation in HCC cells.
