In the present study, we established ACVR2A-knockout (KO) cells from both human and mouse HCC cell lines, in which glycolysis was strongly enhanced and lactate was increasingly produced, and elucidated the significant relationship between ACVR2A depletion and regulatory T (Treg) cell infiltration by histopathological analysis of human HCC samples. Here, ACVR2A is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
