The Johns Hopkins model, first described in 2017 [25], was developed using data from 964 patients from the Johns Hopkins Active Surveillance (JHAS) cohort who met the Epstein criteria for very low-risk PCa and had at least two PSA measurements and one postdiagnosis biopsy as of 1 January 2016 [33]. This evidence concerns the gene KLK3 and posterior cortical atrophy.
