The level of GATAD2B was significantly higher in mammosphere cultured breast cancer cells including MDA-MB-231, SUM159 and a patient-derived-xenograft (PDX) cell lines HCI-10, compared to control cells grown in adherence under similar media conditions (Supplementary Figure S2A), suggesting a potential role of GATAD2B in regulating cancer stem-like cells properties.
