Notwithstanding, TP53 is one of the most frequently mutated genes in BC (about 30%) [21]; the encoded protein works as a tetramer and each monomer consists of several domains: an N-terminal transactivation domain (TAD) subdivided into two regions (TAD1 and TAD2), a proline-rich domain (PRD), a core DNA-binding domain (DBD), a tetramerization domain (TD), and a C-terminal regulatory domain (RD) [22]. This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and breast cancer.
