APOE and coronary artery disorder: This gene encodes a member of the low‐density lipoprotein receptor (LDLR) family. It is involved in lysosomal degradation and the migration of neurons during development. It is also involved in the cholesterol transport protein APOE. Some evidence indicates that variants in this gene are associated with myocardial infarction and coronary artery disease. However, we did not find any links between LRP8 and asthma in the literature.
