In this study, the addition of 5mM and 10mM glutathione significantly mitigated SLC7A5 knockdown’s inhibitory effects on HGC27R and MKN45R cell proliferation, invasion, and migration, suggesting that suppressing SLC7A5 restrains the malignant progression of oxaliplatin-resistant GC cells through glycolysis inhibition. Here, SLC7A5 is linked to gastric cancer.
