Further validation results indicated that EPHX2 expression levels were profoundly decreased in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), BRCA, cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), brain lower grade glioma (LGG), ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), testicular germ cell tumors (TGCT), and uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), while notably upregulated in thymoma (THYM) (Figure 1B). This evidence concerns the gene EPHX2 and adrenal cortex carcinoma.
