Lower PARP7 expression levels also correlate with a better outcome in cervical squamous cell carcinoma (CESC), sarcoma (SARC), liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), and bladder carcinoma (BLCA), but with a worse outcome in uveal melanoma (UVM), rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), breast cancer (BRCA), thyroid cancer (THCA), and prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD) (Fig. 4).
