ENHO and type 2 diabetes mellitus: For example, Es-haghi et al (2021) reported that adropin levels were significantly lower in CRF patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus compared to healthy controls and that this decrease was associated with impaired renal function.[8] In a similar study, Kałużna et al (2019) reported that adropin levels were lower in hemodialysis patients compared to the control group.[9]
