IL17A and type 2 diabetes mellitus: In their study, they showed that adropin treatment decreased IL-17A and IL-33 gene expression levels by regulating the inflammatory response and thus provided an anti-inflammatory effect.[12] In addition, Li et al (2020) found a negative correlation between adropin levels and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein in type 2 diabetes patients.[13] This supports the effects of adropin on inflammation.[13]
