CD8A and Sepsis: Differential analysis revealed 24 immune cell types with significant differences in infiltration; activated dendritic cells, plasmacytoid dendritic cells, central memory CD8 T cells, gamma delta T cells, macrophages, mast cells, neutrophils, regulatory T cells, and type 17 T helper cells had higher infiltration levels in the sepsis group, whereas the remaining 15 cell types were more abundant in the control group (p < 0.05) (Figure 7A).
